New goals

Another round, another finale finished, done, dusted.

A great weekend in Sydney, the weather held out, thank goodness.  A beautiful day yesterday, in so many ways and rain today.  Gloomy but very welcome after having no rain since July.

I love the build up to finale, I love the shopping for a dress a few weeks out and having it a goal to fit into.  The dress hangs on the wall at the end of my bed and I see it every morning and evening.  Visualisation is a very strong tool for me.

The finale was in Sydney this weekend, so off to the city we trotted on Friday evening.  Nice to settle in and relax before the workout Saturday morning.

I think my two favourite parts of the finale are the workout and the getting glammed up.

Before the workout I had a dexa scan, which I was keen to see the results.  The dexa scan was positive, it showed that 58kg of my body weight is muscle mass, bone and organs, which the guy said was excellent.  The scan also showed my bone density to be excellent, way higher than average.   Yay, good results and he suggested I should aim for about another 5 - 7kgs to lose.

Workout time!!!!   Sweating my ass off, burpees, crawling under Garry while he does downward dog and lots of running and squat jumps and boxing.

After a freshen up and lunch with Pottsy and Shane, it was time for the make over.  I love the make over, it's my little treat and makes me feel so special, especially since I'm so low maintenance.

Tania from De Ross Artistry has an amazing team of ladies working for her.  I've been lucky enough to have my make up and hair done three times by Tania's team and each time I feel so dam good.

Finale was great, lots of excitement, last cocktail finale before it becomes a fitness expo.

Some photos of the night and the new me :)

Round 4 starts tomorrow.  I've signed up for Advanced 10k running program and my goals are;
  • to lose 5 - 7kg
  • waist measurement >80cm
  • at the end of 12 weeks to run 10km in less than 60 mins
  • 24/11 10km Central Coast Run - less than 63mins :)
onwards and upwards ................ let's go people!!!!
