Well, it's been a couple of weeks and wow what a couple of weeks. Life is certainly busy and sometimes I feel like the merry go round of life is just spinning too fast.
Ok, firstly my adventure on the 12wbt - all is going well. Last week I lost 0.3kg, was slightly disappointed because I've been working really hard with both the exercise and food. I'd even made an effort to not go out too much over the weekend and not eat out. Then this week I lost 1.4kg with no different to what I'd done in previous weeks. It just goes to show that if you follow the program it will work, just at different rates/speeds. Still feeling really good about the program, knowing it's all my head and the head is what makes the difference. So, as of this week in 17 weeks, I've lost 19.2 kg.
My workout clothes and casual pants are starting to fall off me. I was training on Tuesday night and my shorts kept falling down - that's a new feeling.
I've been following the c25k.com learn to run program and have blown myself away every day!!! Last Friday I had to run for 25 mins, Garry came with me for some support, and I was impressed to discover I could run the time without stopping. This week I completed week 7, the three days and each day was to run for 25 mins - yay me!!!
I'm finding about Wednesday I'm struggling with tiredness and emotions, so have made sure I've got an easy meal prepared.
Ok, my lovely travelling daughter has been exploring Europe and discovering that no matter how security conscious you are there are some dodgy people in the world. She spent four days in Barcelona and loved it. However on the Saturday she was on a train and was pick pocketed - lost her wallet with all her cards and cash. Left with no cash whatsoever. I'm so glad she was travelling with friends who were able to help her out financially. And thank goodness for technology, specifically Skype. I was able to skype with her and cancel her cards. I am impressed with the cash passport visa card she has, reported it stolen on the Saturday and a replacement card arrived in Ireland for her on the Tuesday. Now that's service!!!
Her pick pocketing experience didn't dampen her spirts, just has made her more wary.
This Sunday she's off to Dublin for St Patricks Day - how amazing will that be!! Check out her blog here
Lots of other up and down family things going on with teenagers in the house, but we'll survive and learn from it all.
JFDI!!!!!
