I'm really pleased with how I'm facing food when eating out!!! I took a bottle of Coke Zero to the movies, then we went to Spanish Tapas. We shared three small plates of food and felt nice and content. Pat on the back for Susie!!!
I have a lot of inner dialogue happening within , the 'jfdi' and then when I look down and still see lumps and bumps my moral drops. Looking I can't see too much happening in the body shape. Sometimes I feel like this program is a fraud and it's a dream, it's all going to go back on overnight.
Oh my goodness, the damage us woman do to our mental health when it comes to our bodies.
Today was weigh in and I was excited to discover I'd lost 1.3kg, so a total of 17.5 in the 15 weeks and as my lovely daughter exclaimed over facebook inbox, 'holy jesus 17.5 is amazinggggg'.
So nice to get this encouragement from across the other side of the world.
My Saturday SSS training buddy and I decided to enter the Mothers Day 4km Fun Run at Parramatta Park (all in aid of breast cancer). It's my first ever fun run, can you believe it???? We decided we needed a goal for the 12 weeks and it will keep me focused.
Mother's Day Classic
Another wow moment for me today. I'm following the c25k running program. This week is week 5 and today I surprised myself;
walked 5 mins
run 8 mins
walked 5 mins
run 8 mins
walked 5 mins
cannot believe that I was able to run two lots of 8 mins without stopping!!!
At the end of the last round, I read a forum post on 12wbt, where a lady was regularly taking photos of a dress she wanted to fit into. Thought I'd try it as another visual as to how I'm going.
Here are two photos - week 1 and week 3, ps, they're not very flattering. Note to self, tell husband to take photos from further away :)
So peoples, when you don't think it's working or it's going slow, try some clothes - your body is changing shape.
