I've been deliberating over whether to run or not for a few days and have come to the conclusion that I will give it a miss. A couple of reasons;
- I feel like the heat will knock me around, so will mix my running up so that I include early mornings and mid morning runs.
- I've been quite ill the last few days, feeling very lightheaded and extremely tired. Not sure if it's low blood sugar. Blood pressure is 110/65 and on Saturday morning I had blood tests to check a few things.
Do not fear, I will run another 10km - in November I plan to participate in the Central Coast 10km while my SSS buddy will run her first half marathon ....... very brave and strong woman.
Had the best massage on Thursday, note to self: book massage in earlier after a long run!!! It was beautiful and I love the conversation that we have while massage is happening. Maryanne is the best.

Yesterday I took my lovely 17 year old up to Shelly Beach Markets for a day out. She's about to embark on HSC exams, so thought we needed a day out - good excuse and I'm sticking to it.
It was a gorgeous spring day and we both enjoyed the day with some presents for all in the family, even Jake the dog got a carob doggy treat :)
On the way home I mentioned to Miss 17 year old that I could very well say I was feeling old having my youngest child officially graduated from school, but I feel 10 years younger than I did this time last year thanks to the 12wbt program.
Was chuffed for Miss 17 year old to say how impressed she was with me and that she found it unbelievable that I was running 10km fun runs and I was the one asking her to participate in them with me.
Innocent words from your child does wonders for your wellbeing xxxx
Had a special day today with my best friend, whom I don't see enough of. Was great to catch up with her, have a chat and a walk in the sun. My gorgeous Jakey boy also loves the farm, especially the rolling in the horse poo.
Lots of positives Sue! Love it :)
