Week 11, so close to the end

Well it's been a week since I've last written and every week seems to have so much happening on so many different levels.

Where shall I start first??  I guess I'll start with the 12 week challenge.  Week 11 this week, with some challenges;  a big night of Thai food and wine with good girlfriends followed by a very sllloow day the next day.  Then Saturday was Australia Day, where I had a few treats.  So those red flag days were followed with lots of structure with my food.  I managed to lose 0.5kgs, a total of 14.9kgs.  Pretty happy with that.  I now have 1.2kg to smash this week.  I've been good with the food so far and pushing myself with the exercise.  I'm not going to cross my fingers, I'm JFDI (just f**** doing it)!!!

After 5 1/2 weeks holiday, it was back to work this week.  It was lovely to see all my work friends again and I'm glad that I've participated in this program over the most difficult time of the year.  The summer holidays gave me a break to focus on exercise and food without work mates eyeing off everything I'm eating or drinking.  It also gave me the opportunity to make a difference and come back and receive some lovely comments from work mates.

I've used ebay to purchase some summer dresses for work, trying not to spend over $10 because I'm telling myself that this is only temporary.  The weight will keep going down.  I've picked up some great bargains.  A couple are a bit small, but hey, I'll get there.  One impressive purchase was a size 16 dress from Jeanswest (via ebay), and yes it fits as you can see from the photo.  I'm not very good at selfies so will have to get lessons from teenagers.

I've had the house to myself this week, feel like I've sent my family all over the world and am enjoying the serenity.  But I guess I have to admit that I will enjoy their company when they return.  As you know my eldest is in Ireland, my other two flew to Rotorua to spend a week with my dad and my husband flew to Perth to see his parents.

Loving technology ................. loving blogs, skype, what an awesome way to keep in touch with my daughter on the other side of the world.  So glad I'm not sitting waiting for a letter that would take weeks to arrive.

So, to anyone wondering whether to make a difference this year - there is no perfect time, JFDI!!!!!  Once you start your head will move into the right headspace and you will achieve results.

Compliments are the best motivator
