My eldest daughter flew out of Sydney yesterday heading to Limerick, Ireland. It's a huge trip and I'm immensely proud of all that she's done to achieve the exchange program and being brave enough to make this huge trip. I wish her all the best for the next six months and many safe travels.
Times like this I appreciate being a teacher and having these holidays, it enabled me time to spend with Britt before she left. I had a bit of a panic/anxiety attack on Monday night, just worrying about Britt leaving. But a walk with the dog at 10pm and a couple of messages from very supportive friends helped me out. I think it was the anticipation of my daughter leaving and travelling to the other side of the world. This little meltdown helped me for Tuesday at the airport. No tears :)
It was lovely to get a photo of my babies altogether, all looking happy :) Such a proud mum moment.
Another successful 12 week whole body transformation week. It's week 10 and I'm really proud of surviving/lasting these 12 weeks. I think what makes it so successful (apart from the structured food, exercise, shopping list) is that in our head it's only for 12 weeks. We can then make the decision to sign up again if we feel the need - which is what I will be doing. $200 is such a small outlay for the success and results being achieved. It's cheaper than a gym membership, cheaper than other weight loss programs and certainly cheaper than coffees, McDonalds and take away meals eaten out over the 12 weeks.
Weigh in day today, was a little concerned as I've had a few restaurant/pub meals out, but have worked hard at the exercise side of things and when not eating out, focused on my food.
Success - lost 1.2, so a total loss of 14.4kg!!!!!
Really, really happy and with 2 weeks to go and a goal of 1.7kg, time to knuckle down, not to lose motivation and keep going .....................
