Honestly???!!!

Today was weigh in day - week 9 and a time of reflection.  Another great result, loss of 1.9kg, so a total loss of 13.2kg in 9 weeks.  My revised goal of 16kgs in 12 weeks is looking very achievable - yay!!!!

But honestly, was I a size 18???  Yes I was because I learnt the tricks of the trade.  I learnt that if the size 18 didn't fit, then I didn't buy the item of clothing.  No way was I going up to the next size.  I can tell you now - Autograph are very generous in their sizings, so I knew I'd fit an 18 from Autograph.  Moda range at Target were very very generous.  I think even one dress I purchased was a 14.  And then there's City Chic, depending on the cut and style of the dress I was either a small or medium.  So in my mind, yes I was an 18, but how strange that I have lost 13kgs and I'm still an 18, but the clothes are very very loose on me now.

So the next dilemma is, that I am taking this 12wbt challenge very seriously and will be signing up for the next round.  My size 18 clothes are beginning to get loose on me, and I need to buy some new clothes to get me through the next lot of loosing kgs.  I'm planning on heading to Suzanne Grae and Rockmans and looking for some dresses on special.  Just a few to get me through work in the next couple of months.  Someone suggested recycle shops, but I've never been able to find anything that doesn't look 30 years old in an op shop, especially when you're looking for larger sizes.

The difference between a good haircut and a bad haircut is one week

I hope that quote is correct, because I took the plunge and got my gorgeous border collie, Jake, a hair cut today.  He struggles in the heat and we've got a very hot few weeks of summer left.  So off we went to the dog groomers.  Picked him up at 4pm and did not recognise him :(  He looks like a badger now.  The kids have laughed at him, and Britt is not impressed that I've done this to him.

Have a laugh at the before and after photos, he even came home with two bows in his hair.
