Accelerator Day

I survived!!!!

In the 12wbt program, Michelle Bridges introduces one day a week from week 9 - 12 which is called an accelerator day.  This day is designed to get maximum weight loss, just one day a week, the day prior to weigh in.  On the accelerator day, we eat NO carbs and NO fruit.

It's more a psychological challenge.  Once you know you're not allowed those food groups, you want them!!!

So far I've survived, will be having an evening snack.

On a social note, my girls and I caught up with two lovely ladies for coffee this morning and a walk along the Nepean River.  One of my lovely friends had a chat with Britt about what to expect when travelling through Europe.  After the chat and coffee Selena and I then walked our dogs along the river front.  Yes, my furry friend, Jake, who we saved from the RSPCA is so spoilt and such a softie - we all love him, even Garry :) and he is also loving the regular walk/runs with this program.

Looking forward to weigh in tomorrow, and another day closer to my Britt leaving.  She's having a lovely last week at home, relaxing, enjoying family time and catching up with friends.

I've borrowed the dvd 'Letters to Juliet', to watch with her and inspire her to visit Verona when she's in Italy.
