I don't think many people would be proud of that fact, but me, yep, I'm super proud. I've worked incredibly hard for the past 26 weeks and watched my weight and bmi slowly go down. It's gone from a very unhealthy obese (probably morbidly obese) to overweight.
And it's just going to keep going down!!!
26 weeks ago my bmi was a very sad 37.9 and on Wednesday when I weighed in, it was finally in the overweight range of 29.6. That's been a loss of 25.3kg and each loss whether big or small has seen my bmi slowly go down.
I'm currently in week 2 of my 3rd round of the 12wbt and still loving it, feeling like it is my healhty lifestyle now, not just another diet. I've changed my exercise plan from intermediate to lean and fit and enjoying the change of exercise. There cardio is harder, lots more interval training and I think that's helping my calorie burn.
I'm having a little hiccup with my knee (the surgery knee), it's not sore where I had the surgery, but a different sort of sore. So, I'm listening to my body and not pushing the running, but it does go away when I'm running, so not to sure what's going on.
HHHmmm maybe I need to go and see my physio???
Tomorrow I'm going to head off to Fernwood and use my free 21 day pass. Going to see if the change in venue, with the gym machines also helps my calorie burn and weight loss. Looking forward to also going to Saturday Zumba as part of my SSS - that should help me to get to my 1000 cals.
Wednesday cardio day :)
For those of you keeping up on where my Miss 21 year old is in her travels .............. she's finished the semester of uni in Limerick and has now left Ireland to travel for the next 7 weeks. It's a little bit scary for mum (me) because she doesn't have a base to go back to. But I'm sure it's an amazingly exciting time for her. She's currently in Amsterdam and about to head to Berlin. She's traveling with a friend for a couple of weeks, then will be on her own for a few week.
Good luck Miss Brittles, we love you and miss you xxxx
